Some Finishing Touches

I had quite a bit going on today, well at least for me on a weekend by myself. I am putting the finishing touches on my PC now that it is up and running correctly. I still have a few programs to re-install and a couple of glitches to sort out (like why my pop-up blocker is not working). I also did some work on the site as some of you might have noticed. I have added a search feature and joined the bravenet affiliate program (under the support this blog section). Stephanie (A.K.A. SnowKitten) is on her way to Reno, NV for her girlfriends wedding, where she will be for the next 4 days. She is picking up a friend that is going with her from the airport, but it looks like she will be a little bit late getting there. Now if only I can keep her out of the casinos............... Yea right! What is the point of going to the gambling state of the world if you don't gamble at least a little. I am sure she will have lots of fun. Kind of wish I was going with her, but that is just not practical with me in school and 2500 miles away.

On Friday I have to turn in my 60 day notice to the apartment complex. Kind of sad about that, as I really like my apartment. But Stephanie is not really interested in moving out here, and the apartment does not allow pets which is the major problem. Inaddition, it really doesn't make much sense for me to keep the apartment (especially without a roommate) when I will be on the road for weeks at a time and only be able to spend 4-8 days a month here. At a cost of $800 a month to run the apartment, it is just not cost effective.
