Fan Farewell

Today was ........ Different as 5 instructors retired today. Kind of an odd thing to know that some of the instructors that helped get you to where you are now will not be there to see you graduate. Sort of bitter-sweet. We are happy for them all and wish them all the best in the endeavors going forward. See you all on the Big Road!

I also heard some sad news today. My first driving partner, Mike, has been MIA for the last 2 days and I got word today of why. Apparently his father had a heart attack. So our thoughts and prayers go out to Mike and his family.

As far as school went today, well ..... it went. Nothing really exciting. The morning was spent in the classroom where we learned more about truck weights, weighing, and how to adjust the tandoms, and why we adjust them.

In the afternoon, my driving partner and I got in a few short runs, including one that took us through the scale house on Hwy 41. Good experience going through the scales, really simple, and really quick.

WI is pretty good, but the weather has been really unpredictable as of late.

Great to hear scott, just remember to keep your head in the game and don't get discouraged. Your going to make mistakes, and while your in school is the best time to make them. Just don't forget to learn from those mistakes. Listen to your instructors and their advice, even when it seems wrong.
